Connection, love, fun, excitement, joy those moments that you want to bottle up and keep in your pocket. I want to capture those! Although I don't pose my subjects we do create connection through games and small suggestions that ensure our time together is fun and enjoyable by everyone.
All you need to bring is the beautiful love you have for your family and were all set.
Just be present thats is all you need to do. You may be concerned that your child wont want photos taken or be shy, thats okay because the thing that puts them most at ease is you being there, being present and listening to their needs.
We don't need to force anything at all, if you take the time to think of all the things that make your child happy, make them laugh and smile and come to the session with those in your tool kit your guarenteed to get stunning family images enjoying a morning/afternoon together.
Leading up to your session you'll get a number of emails with tips and tricks on how to prepare for your session, they may seem overwhelming at first but this preparation is key to getting the images you dreamed of. I capture what is in-front of me and together we can make stunning art work of you and your family. - Trust me, you will love the end result.

It's important that you love my style and are comfortable with me as your photographer, I'm always more than happy to have a chat over the phone or even meet up for a coffee before you book in your session or birth photography with me. Once your gallery is ready for you I'll send an email through. You'll get to see the memories we captured, pick your images and choose what you'd like to purchase with your print credit.
The BEST PART
Once our booked in I will send you a welcome pack, this will walk you through choosing an outfit, location and getting all the family to cooperate. As well as a few questions so I can get to know you.
GETTING READY
Head to the contact us page and pop in your details.
Together we will arrange the perfect time and place for your session. A $250 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. The balance is due a week before your session.

I'm so happy you are ready to book in a session, you'll be so pleased with the end result! To make a booking its easy just hit the Here and send me your details. I'll get back to you really soon. I do typically book out 6-8 weeks in advance so don't wait too long.
Your photos will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your session. (urgent deliveries can be discussed for an additional fee) They will be sent to you via a link to your private online gallery for your viewing.
I do affiliate with a great photo lab to offer you stunning printed products and albums, please ask for samples and pricing. However I am also happy to make recommendations should you wish to arrange that yourself.
Ever heard of the “golden hour”? It’s the hour just before sunset where the light hits just perfectly. It’s a magical time to shoot and will result in the most beautiful images. When that is will vary depending on the season but is usually between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
Indoor sessions can be a bit more flexible but will most often be between 10am and 2pm.
If any of these times aren’t suitable to you we will have a chat and work something out.
Here at Echo Life Photography I want to do just that “ECHO YOUR LIFE”. To do this I make my sessions as fun and relaxed as possible. We will play a few games, splash around in the water and have a few races. Anything to get you and your family loving life.
There may be moments where I’ll give you some specific direction like where to stand or what direction to face but nothing that will leave you feeling too awkward.
If your already having fun I don’t have to work so hard at making you look like your having fun.
So don’t worry about your shy daughter or grumpy dad I aim to get them having so much fun they don’t even know I’m there.
That’s okay. Life happens I understand that kids get sick and sometimes a beautiful day is interrupted by a late afternoon storm. Just let me know how you are going with as much notice as possible and I will do the same. If we need to reschedule we will.
As I am a birth photographer, and birth is so unpredictable I do need to offer my birthing mothers top priority. There may be a time where I will need to reschedule or leave a shoot early. I will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and should this be the case with your photo shoot I will throw in an extra 8 x 12 print of your choice to say thank you for being so patient.

Well the perfect location where the sun sets right over the ocean at exactly.... just kidding. You session should be somewhere that most represents you. somewhere you love making memories as a family, somewhere that brings out the best of your kids personalities or somewhere that just makes you happy and comfortable. This can be in your own home, at the beach, the national park or even a quiet spot in town.
